ADVANCED ROADSIDE IMPAIRED DRIVING ENFORCEMENT (ARIDE)
Advance Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) is a 16-hour course offered at the NSA Annual Conference in partnership with Responsibility.org and the Florida DEC Program State Coordinator at the University of Florida’s Institute of Police Technology and Management. ARIDE was created to increase law enforcement’s knowledge of drug impairment in drivers and to bridge the gap between the Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) curriculum and the Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) Training. It is FREE, but you must register. It will be held on Monday, June 23rd and Tuesday, June 24th from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Please contact Candace Hill at chill@sheriffs.org to learn how to register for the class.
