CORN HOLE

OBJECTIVE

The goal is to score points by landing bags on the board or in the hole, with the first player or team to reach or exceed 21 points winning the game.

SETUP

  1. Boards: Place two boards 27 feet apart, facing each other.
  2. Teams: Form two teams with one or two players per team.
  3. Bags: Each team gets four bags.

GAME PLAY

  1. Turns: Players take turns throwing one bag at a time until all bags have been thrown. Players alternate turns between throws.
  2. Tossing: Players must toss the bags from behind the front edge of their board (the foul line).

SCORING

  1. In the Hole: 3 points per bag.
  2. On the Board: 1 point per bag.
  3. Cancellation Scoring: Points cancel each other out. For example, if Team A scores 7 points and Team B scores 5 points in a round, Team A scores 2 points for that round.

WINNING

  • The first team to reach or exceed 21 points wins. If both teams exceed 21 in the same round, the higher-scoring team wins.

ADDITIONAL RULES

  • Foul Bags: Bags that touch the ground before landing on the board or are thrown from over the foul line do not count and are removed from the board.
  • End of Round: All throws for a round must be completed before any scoring is calculated.
  • Tied Game: If both teams score exactly 21 points in the same round, the game continues until one team wins outright in a subsequent round.
